Restful Sleep combines four herbal extracts that have traditionally been used in herbal medicine to promote calmness and support healthy sleep. Passionflower extract (Passiflora incarnata), California poppy extract (Eschscholzia californica), skullcap extract (Scutellaria lateriflora), and linden extract (Tilia cordata) are all valued for their natural sedative effects that promote healthy sleep. Passionflower, California poppy, and skullcap all have anxiolytic effects, promoting overall mental calmness. California poppy also has analgesic properties, which may help ease physical pains that can inhibit or interrupt sleep.

Recommended adult dose: 2–4 capsules 1 hour before bedtime or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia) or if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are breastfeeding or if you are taking cardiac glycosides such as digitalis/ digoxin or blood pressure medication. Do not use if you are pregnant. Consumption with alcohol, other medications, or natural health products with sedative and/or analgesic properties is not recommended. Hypersensitivity (e.g., allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use. Some people may experience drowsiness.
